Lesson 1. What do you need to know before you start?
In this first lesson we will make a brief presentation of the complete TFZ training programme in which we will review the content of the theoretical and practical part, chat groups and the direct communication channels with the trainer to facilitate the support and resolution of doubts and incidents.
Lesson 2. Tools and utilities for the trader
In this lesson we will see the necessary tools to work with our MT4 trading platform. You have at your disposal the tool “My MT4”, a package of indicators, templates and profiles customised by us that you can use in your day-to-day work as a trader.
Lesson 5.
During the lesson we will discuss the basic principles of fundamental analysis, explain the main aspects and data of the economic calendar and finally we will carry out a fundamental analysis practice in which we will review the context of the global economy, work in more detail with the American economy and look for the sectors and industries that we expect to see the greatest project and growth in order to invest in related companies.
Lesson 6. Origins and concepts of Dow theory
During the lesson we will discuss the basics of technical analysis as set out in Dow’s theory. We will review the origins, define what a trend is, the types of trend, the different phases of a trend, the signals that indicate a change in trend and finally the interpretation that we can make of the volume.
Lesson 7. Practice with Dow’s theory
During this lesson we will do a practical exercise in which we will identify each of the concepts of analysis under the Dow theory, from identifying the types of trend, the phases of a trend, how to identify a signal of change and examples on the interpretation of volume.
Lesson 8. Elliot Wave Origins and Concepts
During this lesson we will be introduced to Elliot Wave analysis. One of the most known technical analysis methods by all traders. We will talk about its origins, the types of wave cycles, the different degrees of waves, the basic counting rules and the composition of corrective patterns in order to learn how to perform a correct analysis according to this theory.
Lesson 9. Practice with Elliot waves
During this lesson we will practice with the Elliot Wave theory. We will review the main concepts of the theory. We will see the different wave cycles, how to differentiate the different degrees of waves, the main counting rules and, finally, we will see operational examples of corrective patterns.
Lesson 10. Origins, Theory and Concepts of Chartist Analysis
During this lesson we will be introduced to chart analysis. We will learn the different types of trends, support and resistance levels, how to confirm a break of support or resistance correctly and we will know the difference between Pull-back and Throw-back.
Lesson 11. Continuation figures and trend reversals
During this lesson we will analyse each one of the continuation and change of trend chartist figures, understanding the correct method to trade with each one of them and how we should manage the risks and the potential profits in each one of them.
Lesson 12. Practice with Chartist analysis
During this lesson we will practice with different types of chart patterns, we will learn how to place the trades according to each pattern, where to place the stop loss and how to look for profit targets. In addition, we will learn tricks to make trading more effective.
Lesson 13. Leading technical indicators
During this lesson we will review what we call “main indicators”, those indicators that we are going to apply directly on the chart and that will give us fundamental information about what the price is doing and the situation of an asset. Among them, we will talk about: – Moving averages. – Fibonacci retracements. – Bollinger Bands. – Keltner channel. – Heiken Ashi. – Pivot Point.
Lesson 14. Secondary technical indicators
During this lesson we review what we call “secondary indicators”, they are those indicators that we are going to apply indirectly in the graph and that will give us a fundamental information about what makes the price and the situation of an asset. Among them, we will talk about: -MACD. -Stochastic. – RSI. – ADX. – CCI.
Lesson 15. Practice with technical indicators
We will review the main and secondary technical indicators, we will see how they can be applied in our platform, how to configure them and how to combine them to find buy and sell patterns.
Lesson 16. Money Management
During this lesson we will learn what money management is and its importance for a trader. We will also learn how to apply money management to our strategies and different methods of money management. Finally, we propose a simple experiment about all these concepts.
Lesson 17. Risk control
During this lesson we will learn what risk management is and its importance for a trader. We will also learn how to apply risk management to our strategies and different methods of risk management. Finally, we propose you a simple experiment about all these concepts.
Lesson 18. Trading Systems
During the lesson, we will define what a trading system is, we will see the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of the types of trading systems, the different trading styles and the multiple concepts of operation that must be taken into account, to work with a strategy or system in an effective and profitable way.
Lesson 19. Process of creating a trading system
During the lesson, we will see the main concepts necessary for the creation of a trading strategy. From analysing the historical movements and conditions of a specific asset, through the creation of the setup of the strategy, defining the specific rules of each pattern and the application of currency and risk management within the system, to finally how to perform the necessary backtesting before launching it in a real account. Finally, we will start with a practice of creating your own trading strategy, where we will walk you through each step and help you to define it completely.
Lesson 20. Weekly preparation and daily monitoring
During the lesson, we will learn what we should do before facing a trading session and how to prepare for trading with as much information as possible. We will start with a review of what happened the previous week both in the markets and in our trading account. Then, we will make a reading of the main news that is expected for the coming week, we will make a complete technical analysis of the main assets and finally we will prepare the strategies with which we will work and we will look for buying and selling operations according to our systems, money management and risk management.
Lesson 21. Trading diary, strategies and performance monitoring
During the lesson, we will learn what a trading diary is and its importance within our plan as traders. It is essential to use this tool to know exactly what we are doing and how we can improve the way we see the market, how we work with our strategies and how to improve our results. We will see two ways of writing down each of our operations and what information each of them provide us with.
Lesson 22. Simple moving average strategy 8 and 18
During the lesson, we will learn how to trade with this strategy that we have been using for several years. It is a simple strategy to apply, based on patterns that repeat themselves constantly.
Lesson 23. Fibonacci Retracements for high impact moves
During the lesson, we will learn how to trade with this strategy that we use when there are strong movements in the markets with two very simple indicators, Fibonacci retracements and Fibonacci expansions.
Lesson 24. Padlock Strategy
During the lesson, we will learn how to trade with this strategy based on taking advantage of the high impact movements that generate the most important news in the markets. It is a very aggressive strategy and requires a high concentration when trading, as well as some experience and management of the trading platform.
Lesson 25. Triple Screen Strategy
During the lesson, we will learn how to trade with this trending strategy based on the analysis of long, medium and short term trends. It also adapts well to trading styles such as scalping, intraday and swing trading. A different way of looking at the market and easy to work with.
Lesson 26. BBKC Strategy
During the lesson, we will learn how to trade with this trend strategy based on the search for the end of each price correction within an impulsive zone, in order to determine the best possible entry into a new trend impulse. The basis of the strategy can be found in the book “Mastering Trading” by John F. Carter, recommended reading for all types of traders.
Lesson 27. RENKO Strategy
During the lesson, we will learn how to trade with this strategy based on a charting model different from the classic Japanese candlesticks, the renko candlesticks are very peculiar as it does not take into account the temporality in the chart and only pay attention to the price action. The renko strategy identifies very well the price movements both in trend phases and in sideways phases of the market.
Lesson 28. Market participants
We review the general concepts of price action. We also analyse the two market participants, strong hands and weak hands and how we can take advantage of the traces left by the professionals.
Lesson 29. Chartist figures
We review the trend reversal and continuation figures from a classical charting point of view. We will also see how to avoid the typical mistakes when trading them. It complements the operations of the previous course.
Lesson 30. Price and volume analysis
Knowing how to interpret the volume and its relationship with the price will be one of the most important factors of this reading of the market. We will learn the general concepts and entry setups based on what we have seen.
Lesson 31. Fibonacci applied to price action
Fibonacci is one of the most important tools that price action offers us. Its understanding and correct application in the system will be basic to obtain positive returns with trading. We will also learn patterns based on what we have studied.
We will teach you all the tricks and strategies on how to avoid trading on impulses and emotions.
