Things to do during self-isolation – COVID19

Due to Coronavirus or Covid-19 it is important we stay at home to avoid spreading it further. However, are you wondering what to do during self-isolation? Keep reading to find out how to utilise your extra time for some self-development!

1. Reading

There’s no doubt that one of the best ways to pass the time is to pick up a book, and I’m sure you’ve heard (or read) that CEOs read one book a week, but what’s happened to that figure now they’re in lockdown? Well, I’ll take a wild guess and say it’s increased exponentially. Dust off those books sitting on the shelf, re-read the books you can’t quite remember or perhaps buy an e-book online. If you’re looking for inspiration, I thoroughly suggest these three books to start you on your journey to expand your learning.

2. Take an online course

Another great way to invest your time wisely is to enrol onto an online course. You can find courses on almost anything whether it be languages, cooking or even pet grooming! If you really want to make the most of your isolation time sign up to an investing course for beginners. If you are intrigued by how Coronavirus has been affecting the markets, interest rates and how you can leverage this knowledge to trade on the stock market then sign up!

Online courses are perfect for those who prefer interactive learning techniques coupled reading.

3. Exercise in your own home

In order to get the grey matter flowing it is important to stay active. To avoid procrastinating assign time everyday to your workout, start small to and slowly build up! There’s a wide variety exercise videos out there so take time to find one you enjoy. Here’s a few of my suggestions…
